STANT HALE JR.
1946-2007
Funeral services were held Thursday, April 5, 6 p.m. at the
Jones-Preston Funeral Home Chapel for Stant Hale Jr., 61, of
Williamsport, Ky., who passed away Monday, April 2 2007 at
his residence.
Mr. Hale was born Feb. 13, 1946 in Logan County, W.Va., son
of the late Dixie Mae Bowens and Stant Hale Sr. He was a
truck driver.
He was also preceded in death by two sons, Vincent James and
Chris Hale.
Surviving are his wife, Carolyn Sue Campbell Hale; two sons,
Richard Lee Hale of Tomahawk, Ky., and David Hale of
Paintsville, Ky.; five daughters, Josephine Gilles of West
Virginia, Joyce Marie Fairchild of Gallipois, Ohio, Janet
Sue Ward of Putman, Ga., Chattie May Hinkle of Tomahawk, and
Correnia Fay Srivastava of Paintsville; two sisters, Chattie
Harold of Wabash, Ind., and Liz Delong of Virginia; and 12
grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
The service was officiated by Jack Woody.
Arrangements under the direction of the Jones-Preston
Funeral Home of Paintsville.

Stant Hale Jr. was cremated and his remains buried outside
his home in Williamsport, Johnson Co Ky. His parents are
interned in the DENNIE PIGG CEM in Boons Camp, Johnson
County Ky.
