HOLLIE VANHOOSE Hollie VanHoose Died: Tuesday, July 22, 2003 Age: 88 JOHNSON COUNTY Hollie VanHoose, 88, of Tutor Key, died Tuesday, July 22, 2003 at his residence. Born June 5, 1915, in Johnson County, he was a son of the late Albert and Christine Howard VanHoose. He was a retired coal miner and a member of Baker Branch Freewill Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Roberta Daniel VanHoose; seven sons, Hershell VanHoose and Luther VanHoose, both of Tutor Key, Harold VanHoose of Tampa, Fla., James VanHoose of Delaware, Ohio, Hollie Jay VanHoose of Dayton, Ohio, Roger VanHoose of Staffordsville, and Venny VanHoose of Louisa; five daughters, Ruby Daniel of River, Jean Picklesimer of Clayton, Ohio, Geneva Caudill of Stambaugh, Lillian Hayes of Lowmansville, and Sharon Woods of Hager Hill; two brothers, Clyde VanHoose of Mt. Gilead, Ohio, and Ralph VanHoose of Falcon; 27 grandchildren, 26 great- grandchildren, and one great-great- grandchild. Funeral services will be Saturday, July 26, at 1 p.m., at Baker Branch Freewill Baptist Church, with Rev. J. K. Caudill officiating.
