MAYME TRIMBLE
1894-1984
Mayme Trimble, 89, formerly of West Van Lear, died Thursday, January
19, 1984, in Seton Medical Center, Austin, Texas.
She was born in Johnson County June 4, 1894, daughter of the late
William Henry and Nancy Elizabeth Goble.
She was a member of the Missionary Baptist church.
Since 1979, she had lived with her daughter Elnora in Louisville, and
for the past year with her daughter Anna Jean in Austin.
Preceding her in death was her husband, James V. Trimble, Sunday,
December 12, 1976.
Surviving are a son James William Trimble, Pikeville; two daughters,
Mrs. Byrd (Elnora T.) Ison, Louisville, and Mrs. Franklin C. (Anna
Jean) Cunningham, Austin; and two sisters, Marie Brown, Leander, and
Effie Hackworth, Blue Creek, Ohio; nine grandchildren and14 great-
grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday, January 23, 1984, in Jones-Preston
Funeral Home chapel with Rev. John G. Sammons and Rev. Byrd R.Ison
officiating.
Burial followed in Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville.
Arrangements were under the direction of the Coake-Walden Funeral
Home of Austin, Texas, and Jones-Preston Funeral Home of Paintsville.
