Ruth Conway Thomas, 71, died April 8 1984 in Hopkinsville.
  
She was born October 26, 1912, in Christian County.
  
A resident of Hopkinsville, she was a retired teacher.
  
Her husband, Ernest Archer Thomas, preceded her in death.
  
Survivors include a son, George Edward Thomas of Apple Valley, MN;
a daughter, Mary Lou Rutford of Danville; five grandchildren; two
brother and three sisters.  Mrs. Thomas was the daughter-in- law of
Mrs. Cora Thomas and sister-in-law of Miss Carol Thomas.
  
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. today, Wednesday, April 11,
in Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville.
