ZORA PHELPS
1909-1997
  
Edith Daniels Phelps, 88, died Tuesday, April 29, 1997 at
Highlands Regional Medical Center.
  
Mrs. Phelps was barn January 18, 1909, in Johnson County, to the
late Milroy and Genoa Lemaster Daniels.
  
She was a member of the Paintsville Church of Christ.
  
She was also preceded in death by a son, James Wallace Phelps.
  
Surviving are her husband, Francis Phelps; two daughters, Betty
Jean Helton of Huntington, West Virginia, and Frances S.
Franklin of Houston, Texas; one sister, Josephine Ward of
Gloucester, Virginia; and four grandchildren and two
greatgrandchildren.
  
Funeral services were held Friday, May, 2, at Jones-Preston
Funeral Home Chapel, with Keith Cozort and Dave Flanery
officiating.
  
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville.
