LORRAINE PARSONS
1922-2003
  
Funeral services were held Friday, June 6, 2 p.m. at the
Paintsville Funeral Home Chapel for Lorraine Parsons, 80, who
passed away at Sayre Christian Village in Lexington, KY.
  
Mrs. Parsons was born August 25, 1922 in Johnson County, KY,
daughter of the late Con and Nora Salyer Burke.
  
She was an independent business owner for the Stanley Products
Company.
  
She was preceded in death by her husband, James C. Parsons.
  
Surviving are two sons, Gary Parson of Roanoke, VA and Jesse
Parsons; two sisters, Irene Hunt of Lexington, KY and Mary Cooke
of Picayune, MS; one brother, Samuel “Jake” Burke of Hager Hill,
KY; 1 granddaughter.
  
The service was officiated by Rev. Tobe Johnson and Rev. Marvin
Adkins, with burial following in the Highland Memorial Park in
Staffordsville, KY.
  
Arrangements under the direction of the Paintsville Funeral Home
of Paintsville.
