Margaret Naomi Greer, 89, died Monday, August 30, 1982 in Riverview
Manor Nursing Home, Prestonburg.
  
Mrs. Greer was born February 25, 1893, in Johnson County, the
daughter of Calvin and Martha Music Burke.
  
She was a resident of East Point.
  
Her husband, Samuel W. Greer, preceded her in death in 1944.
  
Surviving are four sons, William Calvin, Paintsville, Claude,
Cleveland, Ohio, Guy, Lexington, and Paul B., Albany, Ga.; Two
daughters, Evelyn Flanery, Allen, and Madge Rutledge, Lexington;
four brothers, Howard Burke, Ashland, Green Burke, Ragland, W. Va.,
Arch Burke, Frankfort, and John Burke, Tampa, Fla.; two sisters,
Sarah Williams, Paintsville, and Ruth Meek, West Van Lear, 17
grandchildren, 23 great- grandchildren and one great-great-
grandchild.
  
Funeral services were held September 2, in Jones-Preston Funeral
Home Chapel with E. W. Damron officiating.
  
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville.
