Gertrude Crider Greer, 88, of Paintsville, died Friday, Feb. 13, at
Highlands Regional Medical Center, Prestonsburg.
  
Born March 7, 1915, in Johnson County, she was a daughter of the
late William M. and Allie Lemaster Crider.
  
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Calvin Greer, in
2001; and two brothers, Virgil Crider and Paul Crider.
  
Survivors include three sons, Ronald Greer of Tutor Key, Gary Greer
of Little Paint, and Paul Greer of Paintsville; two daughters,
Alice Greer Frazier of Thelma, and Peggy Greer Hall of Van Lear;
seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
  
Funeral services were Monday, Feb. 16, at Jones-Preston Funeral
Home, Paintsville, with Charles Heater and Delmon Hayton
officiating.
  
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, under
direction of Jones-Preston Funeral Home.
