Lake Goble, 86, of Inez, died Sunday, Jan. 25, at Thompsonhood
Veterans Center, Wilmore.
  
Born Oct. 25, 1917, in Martin County, he was the son of the late
Frank C. and Maggie Ward Goble.
  
He was preceded in death by a brother, Ernest Goble; and three
sisters, Exie Jude, Olga Clickenger, and Zella Hartman. Survivors
include his wife, Veatrice Pack Goble; three sons, John K. Goble of
Debord, Harold Roger Goble and Gordon F. Goble, both of Inez; two
daughters, Glenda F. Ramey and Joyce Eisnaugle, both of Columbus,
Ohio; four brothers, Edwin M. Goble of Roy, Utah, Dave Goble of
Jackson, Mich., Offutt Goble of Frankfort and Oscal Goble of Inez;
a sister, Okla Blackburn of Inez; six grandchildren; and six great-
grandchildren.
  
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. today, Wednesday, Jan. 28, at
Richmond-Callaham Funeral Home with Phillip Kirk and James Maynard
officiating.
  
Burial will be in Highlands Memorial Park, Staffordsville, under
direction of Richmond-Callaham Funeral Home.
