CARLOS GOBLE

Carlos Goble, 77, of West Van Lear, died Tuesday April  3, 1990 at
Highlands Regional Medical Center.
  
Mr. Goble was born September 17, 1912 in Fleming County, the son of
Andrew Jackson and Hessie Mae Goble.
  
He was a businessman for many years in Paintsville and was a member
of the West Van Lear Church of Christ, serving at various times as
church treasurer, Sunday school superintendent, teacher, deacon and
elder.
  
Surviving are his wife, Maxine Conley Goble; two sons, Dr. Kenneth
Carlos Goble, of Cincinnati, Ohio; and Larry Keith Goble, of
Gainesville, Florida; and three grandchildren, Allison, Jason and
Stacey.
  
Funeral services were held Thursday, April 5, in Jones-Preston
Funeral Home, with Dave Flannery and Jeff Stanley officiating.
  
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville.
