Elsie Gilchrist, 91, died Thursday, February 19, 1981 in Crest
Haven Nursing Home.
  
Mrs. Gilchrist was the daughter of Walter and Margaret Gibson.
  
She was born in Bourbon County January 3, 1890.
  
She was a resident of Paintsville and a member of the Christian
Church.
  
Her husband, John E. Gilchrist, preceded her in death in 1967.
Surviving are two sons, Albert E. and Elmer Gilchrist, a brother
and sister, Edwin Gibson and Clara Parish, all of Lexington; nine
grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and one great great
grandchild.
  
Funeral services were held Saturday, February 21, in Jones-Preston
Funeral Home Chapel with Terry Jones officiating.
  
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsvllle, with Jones
Preston-Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
