Sally Gamboe, 70, of Paintsville, died Monday, Dec. 4, 2006 at Paul
B. Hall Medical Center, Paintsville.
  
Born June 6, 1936, in Dothen, W.Va., she was a daughter of the late
Lawrence Estill and Sadie Violet Painter Gambill. She was a
homemaker.
  
Survivors include her husband, Jake Gamboe of Paintsville; three
sons, Robert T. Rackley and Edward R. Gamboe, both of North Carolina,
and James L. Gamboe of Paintsville; a daughter, Violet Susan Gamboe
of Paintsville; a brother, Buddy Earl Gambill of Paintsville; four
sisters, Mary Francis Skinner of Wisconsin, Eula Eileen Camden of
Piqua, Ohio, Jean Ealey of Paintsville, and Mildred Irene Sharp of
Dayton, Ohio; and five grandchildren.
  
Funeral services were Thursday, Dec. 7, at Jones-Preston Funeral Home
Chapel, Paintsville, with Roger Williams officiating.
  
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, under direction
of Jones-Preston Funeral Home.
