Hazel Dalton Franklin, 96, of Paintsville, died Saturday, Feb. 25
2006 at Mountain Manor Nursing Home, Paintsville.
Born June 26, 1909, in Blaine, she was a daughter of the late
Orlando and Ollie Wheeler Daniels. She was a homemaker, and past
member of Sitka Homemakers and Paintsville United Baptist Church
Auxiliary.
She was also preceded in death by husbands, Charles Wells, W.T.
Dalton, Miniard Grim, and Edgar Franklin.
Survivors include a son, Arnold Wells of Paintsville; two
daughters, Dorlene Lockwood of Paintsville, and Josephine Parley
of Florida; a brother, William Daniels of Florida, a sister, Ruby
Horsley of Portsmouth, Ohio; six grandchildren; six great-
grandchildren: and three great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Monday, Feb. 27, at Paintsville Funeral Home
Chapel, Paintsville, with Elders John R. Pelphrey and Chris
Rowland officiating.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, under
direction of Paintsville Funeral Home.
