CHARLES FRALEY
1916-1998
  
Charles "Junior" Fraley, 81, of Staffordsville, died Sunday, April
26, 1998, at Paul B. Hall Regional Medical Center.
  
He was born July 23 1916, in Lawrence County, the son of Charles
Fraley and Martha Payne Fraley.
  
He was a coal miner.
  
He was preceded in death by his parents and his first wife,
Elizabeth Castle Fraley, who died March 31, 1988.
  
He is survived by his wife, Betty Dozier Fraley; one stepson, Guy
Dozier of Nashville, Tenn.; one daughter, Judy Wheeler of
Staffordsville; one step-daughter, Kathie Dozier of Lexington; two
brothers, Don Fraley of Thealka: and Foster "Lang" Fraley of
Somerset; two sisters, Mollie Hunter of Salyersville and Edith
Sherlman of Rowlett, Texas; one grandchild; four step-
grandchildren; and two step-greandch8ildren.
  
Services will be April 29, at the Thealka Freewill Baptist Church
with Dick VanHoose and Hubert Slone officiating and Jones-Preston
Funerg Home caring for those arrangement.
  
Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park in Staffordsville.
