Farrell C. Ferguson, 85, of Keaton, died Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2005 at
his residence.
  
Born Jan. 1, 1920, in Johnson County, he was a son of the late Nelson
David and Maxie Bailey Ferguson. He was an oil field worker with
Ashland Oil and a U.S. Army veteran.
  
He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Barbara E. Ferguson.
  
Survivors include his wife, Bernice McKenzie Ferguson of Keaton; a
son, Michael N. Ferguson of Keaton; a sister, Ilene Salyers of Palm
Harbor, Fla.; and two grandchildren.
  
Funeral services were Friday, Oct. 14, at Jones-Preston Funeral Home
Chapel, Paintsville, with Paul E. Keaton officiating.
  
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, under direction
of Jones-Preston Funeral Home.
