Anon Lee Ferguson, 84, of West Liberty, husband of Mary Vicie
Skaggs Ferguson, was born June 13, 1922, in Morgan County, Ky., and
died Thursday, Jan. 18, at St. Claire Medical Center, Morehead.
He is survived by two daughters, Brenda "Larry" Dickerson, and
Caroleene "Vonnie" Ferguson Gambill, both of West Liberty; a son-
in-law, Roger Stambaugh, Valparaiso, Indiana; special daughter,
Rissie and Bobby Jenkins and family, Fairborn, Ohio; two step-
daughters, Lee Ann Brooks, West Liberty, and Brenda Doyle,
Flemingsburg; a brother, Lowell H. Ferguson, West Liberty; a
sister, Reeda Barker, West Liberty; three granddaughters, Lashae
Ferguson Bevins, Tammy Rena Coil and Chelisha Ann Parks; two
grandsons, Anon Lee Dickerson and William Anon Jeffery Stambaugh;
and six great-grandchildren, Steven, Sara, Kaylee, Michael,
Adrianna, and Matthew.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Sophia Fyffe Ferguson;
his parents, Willie Nathan and Della Keaton Ferguson; a daughter,
Iretha Stambaugh; two brothers, John M. and Ernest Ferguson; and
one sister, Lexie Fraley.
Funeral services at Paintsville Funeral Home Chapel, Paintsville,
on Sunday, Jan. 21, at 11 a.m. Ministers were John G. Pelphrey,
Bobby Jenkins, and George Ed Barker. Burial at Highland Memorial
Park, Staffordsville, Kentucky.
