DELBERT FAIRCHILD
1906-1997
  
Delbert Fairchild, 90, of Paintsville, died Thursday, February 13
at Paul B. Hall Regional Medical Center.
  
He was born May 12, 1906 in Johnson County, the son of James's
Henry Fairchild and Lou Sina Bayes Fairchild.
  
He is preceded in death by both parents, and his wife, Merle Conley
Fairchild.
  
He is survived by one son, David R Fairchild of Oil Springs; two
daughters, Linda F. Castle of Sitka and Vivian Fairchild of Oil
Springs; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
  
Services were Saturday, February 15 at 11 a.m. at Jones Preston
Funeral Home Chapel With James Kelly Caudill,  Ellis Hamilton, and
Dick VanHoose officiating.
  
Burial was in Highland Memorial Cemetery, at Staffordsville.
