Emery Otis Barker
1925–2002

Funeral services were held Monday, October 28, 2 p.m. at Jones-Preston
Funeral Home for Emery Otis Barker, 77, who passed away Friday, October
25, 2002.

Mr. Barker was born July 15, 1925 in Johnson County, son of the late
Jarrett Corbin and Julie Carroll Barker.

He was preceded in death by one son, Charles Emery Barker.

Surviving are his wife, Beatrice Crace Barker; four sons, Timothy and
David Jarrett Barker, both of Wittensville, Keith Allen Barker of
Barboursville, Ky., and Tracy Lee Barker of Somerset, Ky.; four
daughters, Judy Carol Frame of Montecello, Ky., Janette Music of Van
Lear, Melissa Barker of Harlan, and Julia Ann Barker of Wittensville;
one brother, Ernest Barker of Van Lear; 19 grandchildren; 10 great-
grandchildren.

The service will be officiated by Roger Thornsbury and Larry Blair, with
burial following in Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville.
