JUNIOR AUXIER

Junior Auxier, 62, of Paintsville, died Monday, January 5, 1998, at
Pikeville Methodist Hospital in Pikeville,Ky.

He was born September 27 1935, in Johnson County, the son, of Hereford
and Sara Stapleton Auxier.

He was a carpenter.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Hattie Stapleton Auxier, who he married
January 15, 1955, in Paintsville; two sons, Bryan Auxier and Brent
Auxier, both of Paintsville; one daughter, Sharon Collins of
Paintsville; six brothers, Jack Auxier of Chillicothe, Ohio; Doug
Auxier, Russell Auxier and Pete Auxier, all of East Point; Martin Auxier
of Swamp Branch; and Harold Auxier, of Staffordsville; four sisters,
Doris Stewart, Mable Williams and Rosella Belcher, all of East Point;
and Mary Smallwood of Ohio; and two grandchildren.

Services were January 8, at the Highland Church of Christ with, Leroy
Auxier and J.M. Scott officiating and Preston Funeral Home caring for
those arrangements.

Burial was in the Highland Memorial Park Cemetery in Staffordsville.
