CLYDE OAKLEY ANDERSON 1927-2003 Funeral services were held Thursday, May 15, 11 a.m. at Jones- Preston Funeral Chapel for Clyde Oakley Anderson, 75, who passed away Monday, May 12 2003 at King’s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, KY. Mr. Anderson was born September 6, 1927 in Scioto County, OH, son of the late Herman Oakley and Sadie Ellen Lewis Anderson. He served in WW II with the Army and Air Force. He also was an airplane engineer mechanic and a plumber. Surviving are his wife, Garnett Fairchild Anderson; three sons, James Oakley (Pam) Anderson of Oil Springs, KY, Michael Dean (Bonnie) Andersonof Crestwood, KY, and Jack Alan (Alma) Anderson of Union city, OH; one daughter, Judy Ann (Danny) Williams of Oil Springs, KY; three sisters, Dorothy King of Reynoldsburg, OH, Wilma Falk of Columbus, OH, and Gladys Randolph of Grove City, OH; 9 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. The service was officiated by Johnny Estep, with burial in Highland Memorial Park in Staffordsville, KY. Arrangements under the direction of Jones-Preston Funeral Home of Paintsville, KY.
