Harry R. Adams, 73, of East Point, died Tuesday, March 9, 2004  at
Paul B. Hall Regional Medical Center, Paintsville.
  
Born June 3, 1930, in Johnson County, he was a son of the late Ben
and Mahala Webb Adams.
  
He was a welder, served in the honor guard in Washington, and was a
U.S. Army Korean War veteran.
  
Survivors include his wife, Chloetta Crager Adams of East Point; a
brother, Romie Adams of Nippa; and three sisters, Elsie Conley of
Springfield, Ohio, Ocie Wilder of South Carolina, and Pauline
Vanhoose of Dayton, Ohio.
  
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. today, Friday, March 12, at Jones-
Preston Funeral Chapel, Paintsville, with Free Will Baptist
ministers officiating.
  
Auxier Chapter 18 of the Disabled American Veterans will conduct
military services.
  
Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, under
direction of Jones- Preston Funeral Home.
