Emily Fyffe, 71, of Paintsville, died Sunday, Jan. 4, at her
residence.
Born Sept. 27, 1937, in Johnson County, she was the daughter of the
late Charley and Wannie Mae Osborne Rice. She was a retired operator
with Bell South and a member of the First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include three sons, Mike Fyffe, Barry Fyffe, and Tony Fyffe,
all of Paintsville; a daughter-in-law, Joyce Fyffe of Paintsville;
four brothers, Charlie Rice of Wittensville, Jim Rice and Wilbur Rice,
both of Ohio, and Billy Carl Rice of Ringold, Ga.; a sister, Betty
Blair of Louisa; and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 8, at Preston Funeral
Home Chapel, with Don Barnett officiating.
Burial will be in Highland Memorial Cemetery, Staffordsville, under
direction of Preston Funeral Home, Paintsville.
