Elizabeth Lambert
1905-1995
Former Johnson County resident, Elizabeth Blanton Lambert, of Lansing, MI, died
September 30. Mrs. Lambert was born March 11, 1905, in Johnson County, the daughter
of the late Albert and Lou Gullett Blanton. She was a former school teacher in
Johnson County and member of Mamre Baptist Church in Lawrence Co., OH. Also
preceding her in death was her husband, Charles Leslie Lambert on October 29, 1983.
surviving are three sons, James Merrill of Spanish Fort, AL, Charles Lionel of Kitts
Hill, OH, and Robert of Albion, MI; one daughter, Mary Lou Hunt of Lansing; two
sisters, Mary Bishop of Ironton, OH and Ruby Stelzer of Mimbres, NM; and 14
grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held tomorrow,
Thursday, October 5, at Phillips Funeral Home, Ironton, with Rev. Frank Malone
officiating. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Garden at South Point, OH.
