CAUDILL, Robert 1915-1962 Word has been received here of the death of Robert Caudill, 46, who was killed by a falling tree at his home at Madison Mills, OH, on September 5. Mr. Caudill was born at Oil Springs, October 7, 1915, the son of James and Nola Blair Caudill. He was married to Lena Blair August 27, 1937, and to this union were born four children: Bobby Dean, Washington, C.H., OH; Louis Gene, Madison Mills; OH, Mary Janalee and Elbert Franklin Caudill both at home. Other survivors include four grandchildren, his father and stepmother, Mr. and Mrs. James Caudill, Stanton, KY. Also surviving are three brothers, Thomas and Frank Caudill, Derby, OH, Arnold Caudill, Clay City, KY; one sister, Viola Caldwell, Guage, KY, and a number of stepbrothers and step sisters. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. September 8 at Snyder Funeral Home, Mt. Sterling, OH, with Rev. Kenneth Trimble, Rev. Francis Blair and Rev. Prater Blair officiating. Pallbearers were foremen of the General Motors Corp. of Columbus, OH where he was employed as foreman. Interment was made in the Pleasant Cemetery at Mt. Sterling, OH.
