CASTLE, Ernest Ray 1990

Former Johnson County resident, Ernest Ray Castle, 54, died Saturday, April 28, in Our Lady of
Bellefonte Hospital, Russell.

Mr. Castle was born January 4, 1936 in Johnson County, the son of Vern and Opal Preston Castle.
He was a self-employed businessman, a member of Sharon Baptist Church, Ironton, Ohio, and a
member of Smith Lodge #775. F and AM.

Surviving are his wife. Betty Lou Price Castle; two sons, Philip Ray Castle, of Columbus, Ohio,
and Paul Lee Castle, of  Flatwoods; one daughter, Rebecca Lynn Castle, of Flatwoods; two
brothers, Robert Castle, of Tutor Key, and Wayne Castle, of Columbus; and two sisters, Helen
Frazier and Brenda Burkett, both of Paintsville.

Funeral services will be held today Wednesday, May 2, at 11 a.m. in Sharon Baptist Church, with
Steve Harvey olticiating.

Burial will be in Rose Hill Burial Park, with Carman Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
