Lula Carter

Mrs. Lula Carter, former resident of Johnson County, and the widow of Grover Carter, died
unexpectedly at her home in Rockhold, Kentucky on July 8.

She was the daughter of the late Lydia Davidson and Bud Collins and was born February 18,1898 in
Johnson County.

Mrs. Carter had beeb a member of the Church of God for many years at Woodbine and a faithful
servant of the church.

Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Jeff Coleman, 2090 Auburn Ave., Dayton, Ohio, a brother John
Crate Collins, a grandniece, who Mrs. Carter raised, Mrs. Ernest Wagoner, and three children of
Indianapolis, Indiana; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

Mrs. Arville Castle and Frank Stafford Jr. are niece and nephew.

The funeral was conducted on July 10 in the Chaple of the Hart Funeral Home at Corbin.
