BURTON, Glen D. 1971 OUT JAN post

G. Burton Glenn D. Burton of Minnie died in a McDowell hospital last Sunday at the age of 57. He
was born in Chandlersville to P.A. Burton of Stambaugh and the late Mrs. Flora Davis Burton.

He owned Burton Auto Parts and was a member of the John W. Hall Masonic Lodge at Martin.

Survivors include his wife, Lizzie Stumbo Burton; a son stationed at Langley AFB in Va., Sgt.
Glenn R. Burton; a sister, Miss Clara Burton of Stambaugh, and two grandsons.

Services were held Tuesday in the Drift Presbyterian Church, of which he was a member, by the
Rev. Milton Skiff. Burial followed in the Stumbo Cemetery at Minnie under the direction of the
Hall Brothers Funeral Home of Martin.
