BURCHETT, Louise (Cundiff) 2009 OUT MAR post

CHARLESTOWN BURCHETT, LOUISE, departed this life for her heavenly home March 27, 2009, surrounded
by her loving family. She was born September 24, 1927 in Paintsville, KY. She was preceded in
death by her parents, Jasper and Mae Cundiff; and her brother, Eddie Cundiff. Louise was a
faithful member of the First Baptist Church of Charlestown and a feisty member of the Red Hats.
Besides her family, her biggest love was for crafts and flowers. One of her greatest joys was
sharing a few seeds or a "start" from something in her yard. The gardens of heaven will bloom a
little more radiantly this spring. She will be greatly missed each day by her devoted husband of
62 years, Thomas Burchett. She is also survived by her son, Gary Burchett; and her daughter and
son-in-law, Brenda and Bill Woods. She was simply "Nanny" to her grandchildren, Wayne Woods,
Sarah Adel, Matt Burchett and Kim Burchett; and her great-grandchildren, Ashley, Hailey and
Sydney Woods and Michael and Jessica Burchett. She also leaves many dear and loving friends to
cherish her memory. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Monday, March 30, 2009, at Grayson
Funeral Home in Charlestown with burial in Charlestown Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m.
Sunday, March 29, 2009, and after 9 a.m. Monday.
