BRUSHART, Audrey F. (Blanton) 1999 1916-1999 Audrey F. Brushart, 82, of East Second Street, Piketon, OH died 6:25 p.m. Sunday, March 21 1999 in Pleasant Hill Manor, Piketon. She was born November 6, 1916 in Paintsville, KY to the late Leck Blanton and Bessie (Tackett) Blanton. On December 23, 1933 she married Glen L. Brushart, who survives. Also surviving are sons L. Eugene Brushart and his wife Sarah, Waverly and James A. Brushart and his wife Jo Ann, Piketon; grandchildren Victor Brushart, Piketon, David Brushart, Jackson, Raymond Brushart, Columbus, Glen Brushart, Nashville, Tenn., Sally Byler, Jackson and Kim Byrd, Hilliard; six great-grandchildren; brothers Ollie Blanton, Piketon, and Charles Blanton, Wayne, Mich; sisters Ova Wells, Ft Wayne, Ind, and Norma Spitzer, Columbus, and a special niece Brenda Shope, Wheelersburg, Ohio. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers Orville, Hollie A. and Leck Blanton, Jr; and one sister Opal Trumbull. Mrs. Brushart was a homemaker and a member of Piketon Church of Christ. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 24, 1999, in Howe Wheeler Boyer Hornback Funeral Home, Piketon, with Jim Duty, Minister, officiating. Burial will be in Mound Cemetery.
