BOWER Pauline "Polly" C., age 85, of Mt. Sterling, passed away Thursday, September 25,
2008, in Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus.

She was born December 8, 1922, in Paintsville, KY., the daughter of Ben and Amanda (Pendleton)
Conley. She was a member of The United Church; Monrovian Garden Club; Past Matron of OES Heber
Chapter #62 of Williamsport.

Preceded in death by her parents, and husband Charles R. (Pete) Bower (March 17, 1984).

She is survived by her loving family: daughters, Lynn Bower of Mt. Sterling, Ann (Tony) Di Nicola
of Columbus; son, Chuck (Sharon) Bower of Mt. Sterling; grandsons, Christopher Begin, Chas Bower,
and Adam Bower; step-grandchildren, Alexa and Glenn Di Nicola; sister, Billie Conley Shaw of
Washington C.H.; special friend, Dick Sommers of Orient.

A Funeral Service will be held 11 a.m. on Monday, September 29, 2008, at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL
HOME, Mt. Sterling. The interment will follow in Pleasant Cemetery.

A Visitation will be held Sunday, September 28, 2008 from 2?6 p.m. Beginning at 6 p.m. an Eastern
Star Service will be held. Family suggest memorial contributions may be given to The United
Church, 30 E. Columbus Street, Mt. Sterling, OH. 43143.
