ROBERT BLANTON
1922-1989

Robert Edward "Bob" Blanton, former Johnson County resident, died December 21, in Frederick
Maryland.

Mr. Blanton was born in Johnson County, December 21, 1922, the son of Oliver P. and Loyola Graham
Blanton. He attended school in Paintsville for several years, was retired from Potomac Electric
Company, a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II and a member of Colesville Methodist Church.

Surviving are his wife, Reva Reece Blanton; two daughters, Susan Ann Dixon, of Silver Springs,
Maryland, and Marjorie Lynn Blanton of Bethesda, Maryland; one granddaughter; and three aunts,
one of whom lives in Paintsville, Vema Butler

Funeral services were held December 23, with Richard Hogue officiating.

Burial was in Parklawn Cemetery in Rockville, Maryland.
