BLACKBURN, Edna (Gullett) 1927-2009
Edna Blackburn, age 82, passed away at Mt. Carmel Medical Center, October 9, 2009. She
was the daughter of the late Harry and Mary Gullett, born August 16, 1927 in Volga, Ky. Preceded
in death by husband Rev. Payton Blackburn, step-father Rado Stambaugh, brother Oakley, sisters
Hazel Ramey, Mae VanHoose, Agnes Jordan, great-granddaughter, Lindsey Payton. Survived by
daughters, Willadean Brickey of Fla., Betty Jean (Clyde) Endicott; sons, Cecil, Bobby Joe (Kim),
Tim (Patty); grandchildren, Christopher, Jon, Marc, Brian, Anthony, Mary Jo, Melissa, Travis, and
Anna; 16 great-grandchildren; sister, Verna Salyer; daugher-in-law, Peggy Jo Blackburn; very
special friend, Tiny Fox; several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the O.R. WOODYARD CO.
CHAPEL, 1346 S. High St., Tuesday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. The funeral service will be held Wednesday 11
a.m. at the Lockbourne Freewill Baptist Church, 3533 Rohr Rd. Reverend Leon Stevens officiating.
Interment Obetz Cemetery. Family suggests contributions in memory of Edna be directed to the
Lockbourne Church.
