John B. Auxier Dies Friday In Tulsa, Okla. Heart Attack Fatal To Retired Farmer John B. Auxier, 75, former rresident of East Point, died in a Tulsa, Okla., hospital April 15 after having suffered a heart attack at his home Thursday. The son of Jeff and Harriet Mujsic Auxier, he was born at East Point in 1879. Mr Auxier farmed near Elk City, Okla., from 1907 until 1935 when he moved to the Tulsa-Broken Arrow area. He and his wife celebrated their 53rd wedding anniversary in January. Survivors include his wife; two daughteer, Mrs. Glen Landes, Watonga, and Mrs. Thomas Zedd, Ft. Campbell, Ky., two sons, J.C. and C.R> Auxier, both of Tulsa; three sisters, Mrs. M. W. Blair and Mrs. Rebecca Hibbits, Elk City, Mrs. Maggie Shepherd, Prestonsburg. Four grandchildren survive. Funeral services wsere conducted Saturday afternoon at the Broken Arrow Assembly of God church. Burial was in the Park Grove cemetery at Broken Arrow. PAINTSVILLE HERALD WEDNESDAY MAY.5 1954
