LAWRENCE COUNTY — Della Kathryn "Mamaw" Arrington, 90, of Blaine, died Sunday, Jan. 18, at her
residence.

Born Sept. 16, 1918, at Flat Gap, she was the daughter of the late Milt and Nancy Kathryn Slone
Harris. She was a homemaker, and a member of Hoods Fork United Baptist Church.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Arrington, in 1991; a daughter, Juanita
West; six brothers; and four sisters.

Survivors include a daughter, Rita Lynn Smith of Fort Gay, W.Va.; two sons, Kenneth Arrington and
Chuck Arrington, both of Blaine; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and nine great-
great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m., today, Wednesday, Jan. 21, at Wilson Funeral Home, with Roger
Jordan, Rick Cordial, and Elmer Burchwell officiating.

Burial will be in Sparks Cemetery, Blaine, under direction of Wilson Funeral Home, Louisa.
