Funeral services will be held Saturday, Oct. 11, 2 p.m. at the Foreman Funeral Home for Wanda
Jean Woods Akers, 74, of LaGrange, Ky., who passed away Sunday, Oct. 5 at Friendship Manor.

Mrs. Akers was born July 12, 1934 in Paintsville, Ky., daughter of the late James Woods and Ethel
Salyers. Surviving are her husband, Alvin Akers; her son, Michael (Mary) Akers; her daughter, Jan
Searing; one brother, James Woods; and five grandchildren.

Interment in the Jeffersontown Cemetery. Arrangements under the direction of the Foreman Funeral
Home of Louisville, Ky.
