BOYD COUNTY — Noah Franklin "Bud" Adams, 77, of Westwood, died Wednesday, Jan. 28, at Kingsbrook
Life Care Center.

Born July 23, 1931, in Johnson County, he was the son of the late Ottie and Zelpha Williams
Adams. He worked at Marathon (Ashland) Petroleum, was a U.S. Air Force veteran, and a member of
the Westwood Enterprise Baptist Church.

He was also preceded in death by a son, J.P. Adams; a brother, James R. Evans; and a sister, Jule
Vanhoose.

Survivors include his wife, Peggy Stambaugh Adams of Westwood; a daughter, Theresa Whitlock of
Ashland; two sons, Gary Adams of Westwood and Mark Adams of San Antonio, Texas; two half-
brothers, Charles Ray Evans of Champlain, Ill. and Ronnie Adams of Flatwoods; three half-sisters,
Janet Short and Nagatha Kendricks, both of Flatwoods, and Carol Sparks of Somerset; 10
grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were Monday, Feb. 2, at Preston Family Funeral Home, with Ed Cook officiating.
Burial was in Rose Hill Burial Park, Ashland, under direction of Preston Family Funeral Home,
Ashland.
