The above picture was surely taken in front of the mail entrance on Main Street when the strike began on May 23, 1946.  It was provided courtesy of Pat (Gafford) Bunch whose mother is in the picture.  Some of the names in the picture are Bertha (Henson) Jamison (1st row, 3rd from right, holding umbrella), Nadine (Bailey) Gafford (1st row, 7th from right), Nettie Jane (Mathews) Chappell (1st row, 8th from right), Bessie (Jackson) Deaton (holding Bargain Power sign), Elsie Griggs (holding Plant on Strike sign), Cameron Griggs (man behind Elsie Griggs in white shirt).  Mary E. Woods is woman with hair tied up next to woman with Local No. 77 sign.  Any help with identifications would be appreciated.
