To all V. whereas V. now know ye that I the said Sir William Berkeley Knight governor V. give and grant unto Isaac Wattson and Samuel Mottershad Four hundred Acres of Land be it more or less situated County of Westmoreland bounded on the south south East side with the land of Edward Parker West south west into the wood North north East upon the head of a Creek which divideth this Land and a Tract of Land of One thousand Acres of W. Valentine Paytons and down the Creek to the place where this Tract first began. The said Land being formerly granted to Richard Codsford by Patent dated the twentieth of August One thousand six hundred and fifty five and since deserted and granted to the said Wattson and Mottershed by order of Court bearing date of the thirty first of March One thousand six hundred sixty two and due also by and for the transportation of Eight persons V. To Have and To Hold V. To be Held V. yielding and paying V. provided V. Dated the first of June One thousand six hundred V. sixty three.
