Pierce Mothershead Family Ties
Whitaker A. Mothershead died Intestate in Jefferson County Missouri, late in 1850 (after returning from a trip to the California gold fields). I have no proof yet on how Whitaker relates to my great-great-grandparents, Clifton & Martha "Patsey" Mothershead, but my personal opinion is that they were at least cousins, and it's quite possible that Whitaker and Patsey were brother and sister. If you have any information to contribute concerning Whitaker (or any other family connections!) please email!
