1820 Davidson County TN Federal Census - Lucy Mothershead is enumerated as the head of household; she's in the "Female, Over 45" category. Also in the houeshold is another female "10-16" and two males; one "16-18" years of age and the other "16-26". I've not yet been able to find Lucy on the 1840 Census for any state.

July 1812 - Taken from the Davidson County Court Minutes Book 1809-1812, the "Enumeration of the free male inhabitants of Davidson County" includes, in Capt. Trigg and Moses Militia Company, Francis Mothershed, John Cooke, Micajah Busby, Robert Busby. For those of you tracing the Pierce family lines also, this same enumeration includes, in Dempey Morris Company, Ira Pierce, John Pierce, Jesse Pierce, Thomas Pierce. Benton Pierce is listed in Capt.
