Pierce Family Homestead in Hillsboro, Jefferson Co., Missouri

This part of the home was built ca 1901, though the land had been in the family since the mid-1880s. The first part was log (and is in "back" of this new part). Believed to have possibly been originally homesteaded by Henrietta Rogers in the 1850s, then passed to her daughter, Eliza Rogers Pierce, then to Eliza's son, William Heenan Pierce.
