The marriage of John Mogridge and Mary Milton does not appear in the Bradninch Parish Register, although there are some references to the Milton family there, as well as in the Bishop's Transcripts of the Bradninch Parish Register, the registers for nearby Stocke Canon and Clayhanger parishes and in Phillimore's Marriage Index for Taunton. John Mogridge and Mary Milton undoubtedly were married prior to 1653 when Johan was born: (4)

1658 John the son of John Mogridge was borne the fifth daie of September and baptized the sixth daie of October
1659/60 Jane the daughter of John Mogridge was baptized the 23th daie of Februarie
1664 Nicholas the sonne of John Mogridge was baptized the 28 day of April
1666 William the sonn of John Mogridge was baptized the 26 day of December
1668 Mary the daughter of John Moggridge baptized the 23 day of December
William Mogridge died before 16 October 1678 when he was buried at Bradninch Church:(5)
1678 William the Son of John Moggridge buried the 16 day of October John and Mary Mogridge are also buried at Bradninch:(6)
