I, too, am a descendant of Thomas Enochs and Nancy Bryan through their daughter Mary Enochs who married Daniel Davidson. My gr-gr-grandfather was George McMahon Davidson, the son of Daniel and Mary Enochs Davidson. George McMahon Davidson and his wife, Eliza Ann S. Davis Davidson, moved to Arkansas around 1880 from Sullivan County, IN. I am searching for the marriage record of Daniel and Mary Enochs and would appreciate any information you might have. Please contact me if you would like more information on the George McMahon Davidson family. His middle name obviously comes from his maternal great-grandmother.

Hi Jane, I'm also related to Daniel & Mary, They are my 4th Great Grandparents. My 3rd Great is Mary Elizabeth & Harrison Alsman. I live about 43 miles from Sullivan, Ind. If I find their mariage on Daniel, I will let you know. I do have the marriage record on Mary daughter, name also Mary that married a Lewis Marion Booker from Sullian Co. Ind....Betty McCammon

Rebecca Enochs, b. about 1738, was the daughter of John and Margaret Enochs. She married James Bryan about 1755/6 and had six children. She died Nov, 1767 after childbirth. The children were raised by her sister-in-law Rebecca Bryan Boone and husband Daniel Boone.
