Their house is at the East End. Captain Ruben Hill was a very popular man.

Page 75 identifies him as captain of the stone sloop "Flying Cloud", which

hailed from Casco Bay before 1866. Page 77 tells us that he owned the

stone sloop "Harriett" from 1879 to 1883. Page 95 identifies him as a

captain of the stone sloop "Yankee Girl", which hailed from Casco Bay until

1894. Page 83 identifies him as a captain of "the last and the most famous

of the Cheabeague stone sloops" - the "M.M. Hamilton", which hailed from

Casco Bay from 1869 to 1930.
