Stuart"s "Royalty for Commoners" (144:30). Sire de Courtenay.
From a posting to GEN-MEDIEVAL on 26 Apr 1999 by Gilbert Baumgartner
citing Maurice Houy's book, "Les Courtenay travers l'histoire", comes the
following: JOSCELINE's eldest son, Milon, made an alliance even more
considerable than the one his father's marriage had concluded by taking
Ermangarde, the only daughter ot the count of Nevers, Renaud the Second
(himself grand grand son of the king Robert the Devout) in marriage. This
was an apogee of this family, related aI the same time to the counts of
the Gatinais of Monthlery and of Nevers.
