Bartrum's "Welsh Classical Dictionary".

The father of Erb according to several genealogies: The Life of St. Cadog, JC

9, ABT 15, and MP 3. It seems that two different pedigrees have been joined

together here, and that the "ap" between Erbic and Meurig should be omitted

(i.e., replaced with a break).

MP 3 wrongly inserts "Creirwy" between Erbic and Meurig.

(It is not clear on what basis Bartrum finds the link between Erbic and Meurig

fictitious. Since it is attested in the genealogies, and is chronologically and

geographically consistent, I continue to show it.)
