of her husband's father and mother, respectively, indicating that she and
her husband were probably related as second cousins or so.
The Maryland IGI records a few Celia Wrights in this time frame, but the
names of the parents mismatch in all but one case, in which no parents
and only a relative "Orpha Ellen Miller" (prob. a descendant researcher)
are given. Since her chronology fits perfectly, I assume it is she.
However, if all this is correct, she married at age 15; I am not sure
whether such a young marriage was likely to have occurred then. But
since her parents are known from the marriage record and their marriage
date is only 2 years prior, this must be the case.
"Quakerism on the Eastern Shore" shows the birthdate as 16 Oct 1790,
rather than 3 Sep 1791, which is more likely correct. Another IGI record
shows 16 Oct 1778, with estimated dates for al other children but Ann,
b. 11 Jul 1792.
The same book records a removal record for Celia Wright and her
children (9 of whom were born then), dated 6/14/1826, for White Water
MM, [Wayne Co.,] Indiana. Perhaps her husband is not recorded because
the record is from a women's meeting.
