Notes

Weis' "Ancestral Roots" (190:9), calls her the "presumed dau. of

ARNOLDUS, BSP. OF METZ [RIN 3666]". This is due to one theory as to how

ARNOLD fits into the ancestry of CHARLEMAGNE, in light of the consensus

now that the former was not, as claimed in the sources, father of ST.

ARNULF (RIN 2494) (see the notes on him). However, Settipani's "Les

ancestres de Charlemagne" considers it more likely that ARNOLD was

father of DODA, ARNULF's wife, rather than of ITTA.
