The "Dictionary of Royal lineage" lists him as the father of PIERRE

RAYMUND (RIN 2391), who married Urraca of Castile and became the

ancestor of the Kings of Castile. "Colonial & Revolutionary Lineages in

America", Christopher Cope's book, "The Lost Kingdom of Burgundy" and

the Royal Genealogical Database at Hull University on the Internet all

agree that WILLIAM I, Count of Burgundy (RIN 1596) was his father.

These sources refer to him merely as "Raymond, Count of Burgundy"

rather than as Pierre Raymund.
