. Veronica F. Jegier
Veronica F. Jegier, Rt.1. Fish Lake, Marcellus, Mich., formerly of South
Bend, died at 6:01 a.m. Today in her residence. She was born in South Bend
Jan. 24, 1879, and left here two years ago to live in Marcellus. Her
husband, August, died in 1941. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Frances
Ewald, Marcellus, and Mrs. Adeline Steszewski, Niles, Mich., a son
Edmund, South Bend; two sisters, Sister Mary Baronea, Nazareth Order,
Chicago, and Mrs. Helen Dolniak, South Bend; a brother, Joseph
Nindykowski [sic. - should be Mindykowski], South Bend, and six
grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Friends may call after 7
p.m. Wednesday in the St. Joseph Funeral Home. She was a member of the
Polish Roman Catholic Union of America of St. Adalbert's Church, South
Bend, and a member of the St. Anne Society of St. Mary Margaret Church,
Marcellus.
